Laurie Fonjong is recognizing personal support worker Kelly Sabourin-Omenye.

"I would like to show my gratitude and appreciation for my sister Kelly Sabourin-Omenye. Kelly is a loving and caring PSW who treats all of her Residents like they are Family.  Kelly started her career over 8 years ago at The Walford and has continued to care for people since starting to work at Extendicare in Timmins.

Her compassion and warm heart make her the best person to take care of your loved ones, not only during these very difficult and unsettling times, but every day of the year.  I am very proud of the person she has become and I know that if she is taking care of your family member than they are receiving the best care anyone could ever ask for. Thank you Kelly for all that you do for your Residents. Stay safe! Love you!"

Thanks for helping TimminsToday recognize local essential workers. Due to the number of submissions, we are not accepting new nominations at this time. We still want to hear from you! If you know of amazing people who are doing random acts of kindness or finding unique ways to contribute to the community, let us know by emailing [email protected].
