Charlene Prudhomme is recognizing her daughter Amber Brousseau, an RPN at Timmins and District Hospital.

"I want to say thank you to such an amazing, compassionate, loving, strong young lady! My daughter Amber Brousseau. Due to COVID-19 she had to reschedule her wedding to the man of her dreams. Even though she was sad and devastated she still did not let that or this virus get her down, she goes in to work with a positive attitude and goes above and beyond every day with every one she comes in contact with. She truly has a heart of gold and is amazing to put her self at risk so that her patients can get the love and care they need to get better. So please let’s stay home and stop the spread and keep our family safe and healthy!

Amber I love you and I am so very proud of you!

I also want to say huge thank you to all of the hard workes at TADH for all the efforts in keeping the hospital safe for all the staff and patients, and to everyone who put their selves at risk to care for our loved ones. You are all amazing!"

TimminsToday would like your help in recognizing local essential workers from health care workers, physicians, cashiers and delivery drivers. If you'd like to say thanks to someone you know, please send a photo, their name, their job title, and your words of thanks to [email protected]. Please only send photos and information with permission.
