A fatal crash that's closed the highway between Timmins and Matheson is affecting waste collection.
Highway 101 remains closed after a fatal, two-vehicle crash early this morning.
In Timmins, waste and recycling collection is cancelled today (April 25) for residents east of Frederick House Lake Road and in Connaught. The service will run tomorrow (Friday, April 26) morning.
Black River-Matheson says its collection is delayed today. The township said on Facebook that the truck travels to the community from Timmins and was re-routed due to the road closure.
