Wanted person arrested on warrant: Timmins Police

The Timmins Police Service arrested a local resident on the strength of an arrest warrant which was executed stemming from an incident that occurred early this morning. A local man turned himself in to the Timmins Police as he was a “wanted person” named in a current arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police.

Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.

As a result, Steve Lamothe, 40, of Timmins was arrested on the strength of the warrant. He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today provincial court in Timmins to answer to charges resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.
