KIRKLAND LAKE - A disturbance has led to serious charges.
On April 7, Kirkland Lake OPP was called to a disturbance.
The police investigation led to a 21-year-old from Kirkland Lake being charged with assault with a weapon, and uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on May 2.
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
