An alleged neighbour dispute that escalated ended in charges for one of the participants, says police.
Yesterday afternoon, Timmins Police say a man had a verbal disagreement with a neighbour in a laneway in the south end of the city. The argument escalated and police allege that a verbal threat of physical harm was uttered.
The suspect was arrested at another location later that day.
A 36-year-old from man Timmins is charged with uttering a threat and failing to comply with a release order.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing today.
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
