A two-vehicle crash has closed a section of Highway 101 in the city's west end.
According to Timmins Police, the crash involved a car and commercial motor vehicle. It happened on Highway 101 near Jaguar Road.
"The driver of the car has been brought to Timmins and District Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the collision," said police in a news release.
Police expect the section of road to be closed for several hours.
Traffic is being rerouted on Government Road at the Kamiskotia intersection. Light traffic can also use Sandy Falls Road.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call police at 705-264-1201.
