TEMISKAMING SHORES - On Dec. 6, 2020 shortly after 11:30 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Temiskaming Shores Fire Department were advised of a fire on Golding Street in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
The value of the damage is estimated at over $18,000.
Further investigation resulted in two individuals being arrested.
Dawson Carson, a 19-year-old resident of Temiskaming Shores and Isaiah Neddo, an 18-year-old resident of Temiskaming Shores, have been charged with:
- Arson - Damage to property, contrary to section 434 of the Criminal Code (CC).
Both accused were released by way of an undertaking and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Jan. 26, 2021 in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
There were no injuries sustained as a result of the fire.
