On Jan. 8, 2022 at approximately 6:30 p.m., members of the Iroquois Falls Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Monteith Road in Iroquois Falls.
As a result of the investigation, Sierra Snowden, 21 years of age, of Iroquois Falls was arrested and charged with the following:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs contrary to section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC)
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) contrary to section 320.14(1)(b) of the CC
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Feb. 24, 2022 in Timmins.
