Timmins woman arrested after police find suspected meth, money during investigation

The Timmins Police Service has charged a local person with a drug related offence stemming from an “unwanted person” call at a Croatia Avenue residence that occurred during the evening hours of Sunday, May 24.

A Timmins Police Service officer responded to the “unwanted person” complaint and completed an investigation which led to the arrest of one of the parties involved.

The female subject was arrested by the Timmins Police officer.

A cursory search of the arrested subject’s person resulted in the seizure of 160 methamphetamine tablets and $4,395 in Canadian currency.

As a result of the incident, Patricia McKee, 64, of Timmins has been charged with:  

  • Utter threats contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada 
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act 

McKee has been released from police custody on the strength of an Undertaking requiring that she attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on Aug. 25 to answer to the charges laid against her.
