NEWS RELEASE
TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE
********************************
Commencing June 25 as the City of Timmins moves into Step One of Ontario’s reopening, the Timmins Police Service is entering into a gradual opening of services.

While restricted access will remain in place, the progression to Step One will allow the Timmins Police Service to resume providing more services to the general public including police criminal record checks for employment and volunteer positions along with requests for access to information.

In order to comply with public health requirements, a maximum of five persons will be allowed in the lobby of the Timmins Police station in order to accommodate “in person” requests for service. A brief but standardized screening process remains in place in order to ensure COVID-19 safety protocols.

While within the police station, strict adherence to the following is required:

  • social distancing requirements
  • mandatory use of a mask and hand sanitization upon entering
  • maximum capacity policies

By ensuring these safety precautions, we ask for your continued patience to provide a professional and enhanced level of service.
