Three arrested on outstanding warrants

All three were held for bail hearings

The Timmins Police Service arrested three local residents on the strength of respective arrest warrants which were executed stemming from two separate incidents that occurred yesterday, with a third incident having occurred early this morning.

While responding to a suspicious person call for service on Third Avenue yesterday morning, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized the subject of the complaint as being a wanted person named in a current arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police.

Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.

As a result, Lou-Anne Hunt, 36 of Timmins, was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

She remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to charges resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.

In a separate incident in regards to a mid-afternoon call for service at a Dwyer Street apartment, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized the subject of the complaint as being a wanted person named in a current arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police.

It was further determined that the subject was currently bound by strict house arrest provisions imposed upon him by the Provincial Court.

The subject was found to be in breach of those conditions by leaving his own residence and attending the apartment on Dwyer Street.

Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.

As a result, Justin Leblond, 34 of Timmins, was arrested on the strength of the warrant and is now charged with two counts of fail to comply with release order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.

While responding to a suspicious person call for service early this morning in the Father Les Costello Drive area of Schumacher, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized the subject of the complaint as being a wanted person named in a current arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police.

Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.

As a result, Benn Gage, 46 of Timmins, was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to charges resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.
