A Temiskaming Shores teen is facing charges after a car stolen in Charlton-Dack was found in Timmins.
Temiskaming OPP responded to the call for a vehicle stolen from a residence near Englehart. Timmins Police later located the vehicle in the city.
The accused is a 16-year-old from Temiskaming Shores. Their name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The teen has been charged with:
• Theft of motor vehicle contrary to section 333.1 of the Criminal Code (CC)
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC
• Fail to comply with sentence contrary to section 137 of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA)
They accused is in custody waiting to appear in a Haileybury court, say police.
