Police investigating theft of two snowmobiles, trailer (4 photos)

The Timmins Police is seeking public assistance regarding its investigation into the following incident.

On Monday, Oct. 25, the Timmins Police attended the residence of the complainant to investigate a theft of a trailer and two snowmobiles.

This incident occurred at a residence located at a residence in the south end of Timmins.

Investigation reveals that, on Saturday, Oct. 23, at exactly 7:04 p.m., an unknown suspect in a dark-coloured truck, possibly a Ram, attended the residence and stole the enclosed trailer containing two snowmobiles inside.

The trailer had a tongue lock on it.

The event was captured on a nearby security camera and photos of the truck have been provided to assist in the investigation.

The double axle trailer is a black 2021 American Works and has a current value of over $8,000 and has an Ontario licence plate affixed to it.

The one snowmobile is a 1999 Yamaha Ventura 600, red in color.

The other snowmobile is a 2001 Yamaha Ventura 600 – gold in color
