The Timmins Police Service arrested a local resident early this morning on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by the Provincial Court in Timmins While on patrol of the downtown core of Timmins, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized a female person as being a wanted person.
The Timmins Police Service officer took the person into custody. The woman was arrested after the validity of the warrant was confirmed by Timmins Police dispatch personnel.
As a result, Judy Jacasum, 23, of Timmins was taken into police custody. She remained in police custody and had a bail hearing yesterday at Provincial Court in Timmins where she answered to the original charges laid against her.
