The Timmins Police Service arrested a local resident on the strength of an arrest warrant which was executed at a Way Ave. residence yesterday morning by the Timmins Police Service.
While responding to a separate incident, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized a female subject as being a wanted person pursuant to an arrest warrant.
Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result, Kanina Manchester, 19, of Timmins was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
Manchester was released from police custody at a bail hearing but must re-attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on September 8 to answer to the original charges laid against her.
