COCHRANE - On March 20, 2021 at approximately 9:09 p.m., members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving a motorized snow vehicle (MSV).
The collision occurred on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Club (OFSC) trail approximately 6 kms south of Cochrane on Highway 11 in Kendrey Township.
Members of the Cochrane and Kapuskasing OPP attended the scene and transported the driver to Highway 11 by using OPP MSV, then transferred him to Emergency Medical Services where he was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
