The highway has reopened in both directions, according to South Porcupine OPP.

The OPP has confirmed a crash on Highway 144 near the Watershed early this morning was fatal.
The South Porcupine OPP responded to the single-vehicle collision at 8 a.m. today (Nov. 2). It happened on Highway 144 in Paudash Township, about 25 kilometres south of the Watershed restaurant.
One person died in the crash.
The highway is still closed between Highway 17 and Highway 560, which is next to the Watershed.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigators have been called to assist with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing. Further information will be released as it becomes available, police say.
