RAMORE - One person is facing charges after a gun was fired in Ramore.
Yesterday (March 24) around 12:30 p.m., Iroquois Falls OPP officers responded to a disturbance in Ramore where a firearm had been discharged.
A 66-year-old Ramore resident is charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Pointing a firearm
- Careless use of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of weapon for dangerous person
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty,
