KIRKLAND LAKE - On Dec. 4, 2020, members of the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an unwanted person at a business on Government Road West in the Town of Kirkland Lake.
The investigation revealed that the accused caused damage inside the business and also damaged property to a second business nearby.
As a result, Tristan Hickey, age 24, of Kirkland Lake was charged with the following:
- Mischief under $5,000, contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code (two counts).
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake, on Jan. 28, 2021.
