Moose Factory search warrant results in multiple charges

Four people are facing charges after police executed a search warrant in Moose Factory. 

Feb. 27, Nishnawbe Aske Police Service (NAPS) says the warrant was executed at a residence in the First Nation community. A large quantity of drugs suspected to be fentanyl, oxycodone and cocaine was seized.

Four people are facing charges. 

Ricardo Bell, 37, of Ottawa, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule substance, and possession of property obtained by crime. 

Mahdi Safa, 36, of Ottawa was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited device.

Natalie Audette, 29, of Sudbury was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. 

James Fairies, 52, of Moose Factory was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

Bell, Safa and Audette were released and are scheduled for court in Moosonee on May 3.
