On July 23, 2022, frontline members of the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence on Kirkpatrick Street in the Town of Kirkland Lake.
As a result of the investigation, Patrick Ryan, 31 years of age, of Kirkland Lake, has been charged with the following;
- Break, enter a place - Commit Indictable Offence, contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (CC)
- Fail to comply with probation order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC (Four Counts)
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Aug. 25, 2022, in Kirkland Lake.
