KIRKLAND LAKE - On April 25, 2021, frontline members from the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a business located on Government Road East in the Town of Kirkland Lake.
As a result of the investigation, Alicia Gauthier, 34 years of age of Kirkland Lake, has been charged with theft under $5,000, contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code.
The accused was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on April 28, 2021.
