Highway 144 closes for serious crash near the Watershed (road reopened)

The highway has reopened in both directions, according to South Porcupine OPP.

Update, 2:30 p.m.:

The OPP has confirmed a crash on Highway 144 near the Watershed early this morning was fatal.

Highway 144 is closed after a serious crash near the Watershed.

South Porcupine OPP is at the scene of the single-vehicle crash south of the Watershed, said police in a tweet. 

The highway is closed in both directions from Highway 17 to Highway 560 (next to the Watershed restaurant).
