TEMISKAMING SHORES - On Sept. 13, 2020 shortly after 2:30 a.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a domestic assault incident on Highway 65 West in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
As a result of the investigation a 42-year-old resident of Timmins, is arrested and charged with:
• Assault - spousal, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code (CC)
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Oct. 13, 2020, in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
The OPP will not be releasing the name of the accused in order to protect the identity of the victim.
