Police are asking for help identifying the suspect and vehicle used

The Timmins Police Service is seeking public assistance in its efforts to identify the suspect and vehicle used in the theft of a boat that occurred at approximately 6:05 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, from a residence a First Avenue residence in Timmins.
 
Based on security video, a mid-sized, four-door car had slowly driven by his residence and pulled into a nearby alley.
 
A male suspect wearing a dark hoodie walked to the boat trailer and pulled it into the alley.
 
The male suspect then opened the trunk of his car for a few minutes before hooking the trailer up to the hitch on his car and driving away southbound in the alley.
 
The pertinent descriptors and photos of the stolen items are as follows:
 
1. Black E-Z Hauler Trailer with an approximate value of $1,000
2. Green and white Legend V-140 Viper 14 foot aluminum single hull boat with an approximate value of $3,000
3. Black Evinrude E-Tec 25 HP outboard Motor Model # E25DGTEAFC with an approximate value of $5,000
4. Hummingbird Fish Finder with an approximate value of $300
5. Minn Kota Electric Anchor - approximate value $350
