MATHESON - On March 28, 2021 at 8:24 p.m., members of the Matheson Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) on Highway 11, Benoit Township, approximately 35 kilometers south of Matheson.
The CMV struck the passenger vehicle from behind.
As a result of the investigation, the 24-year-old driver of the CMV was charged with careless driving contrary to section 130(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
There were no injuries.
