The Timmins Police Service has charged a Cochrane man with theft related offences stemming from an incident that occurred on Monday, Aug. 30 at a west-end hardware store in Timmins.

A Timmins Police officer responded to a call for service yesterday afternoon regarding a suspicious person who had attended at the retail store, gathered up a number of power tools, and fled the store on foot without making any attempt to pay for the items in his possession.
