The Timmins Police Service arrested a local resident on the strength of an arrest warrant stemming from a breach of release order conditions incident that occurred earlier this year in Timmins.
A Timmins Police Service officer was alerted to the fact that a wanted person had turned himself in at the Timmins Police Service early this morning.
The responding Timmins Police officer verified the validity of the arrest warrant and took the man into custody.
As a result of this incident, Dean Naveau, 26, of Timmins, is charged with:
- Fail to Comply with Release Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The subject remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.
