$6,800 of items stolen from Timmins business

Three people are facing charges after a break-in at a Timmins business. 

The incident happened early on Saturday, Jan. 21 at a Brousseau Avenue commercial building. The suspects forced their way into the business and stole about $6,800 in tools, equipment and electrical materials, said Timmins Police.

Three men — a 34-year-old, 23-year-old and 33 -year-old — from Timmins were arrested the same day as the incident. 

They've been charged with break and enter with intent, possession of property obtained by crime, use disguise with criminal intent and traffic in property obtained by crime.

The 23-year-old was also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused are in police custody and waiting for their respective bail hearing today.
