$10K of plywood stolen in Moosonee

Police are looking to talk to anyone with information about the theft from a business

June 4, 2022, members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft after the fact at a local business in the Town of Moosonee.

Further investigation revealed that the person(s), stole sixty pieces of ½ inch plain plywood sheets, and fifty pieces of 5/8 inch tongue and groove plywood sheets worth an estimated value of approximately $10,000. 

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident, to contact the Moosonee OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. You can also submit information online at www.cochranecrimestoppers.caBeing anonymous, you will not be required to testify in court and information you provide may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.
