It is with the deepest regret we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Marie Nicole Guylaine Rheault, lovingly known as GiGi by her family, on Wednesday Jan. 10, 2024.

Guylaine was a kind and thoughtful soul who will be missed and remembered by the many lives she touched. She was Born in Hawkesbury, Ontario on May 2, 1968 to Laurent Rheault & Denise (Camirand).

Predeceased by her Parents Laurent and Denise and her Sister Catheline Rheault (Patrick Mireault)

She is survived and missed dearly by her daughter, Deidre Eden (Mike Seabert) of Iroquois Falls and her Son Patrick Oliver of Toronto, her beloved Pet Cooper and her brothers Joel Rheault (Kim) of North Bay, and Ronald Rheault (Madeline) of Moosonee. Her memory will live on with her nieces and nephews: Stephanie, Joel, Nikolai, Lauren, Melissa, Christiana, Nicole, Chantal, Darryl and Russell and also in her many Aunts Uncles and Great Nieces and Nephews.

Guylaine loved to play cards as well as backgammon with her friends, she was an avid crossword enthusiast and found much pleasure in reading broadly, often sharing books with her family and friends, she loved the opera and travelling with her friends.

Her Heritage was also very important to her. Recently, she had been rediscovering her Indigenous roots and was a proud member of Attawapiskat First Nation.

Guylaine was such a passionate and kind soul who cared so deeply for, and made such an impact, on the many the people in her life. She will be forever missed. Until we meet again, we love you!

Services will be held at Hillside Funeral Home on Saturday January, 20, 2024 from 11:00 to 1:00 and a Celebration of life will be held at a later time during the summer of 2024.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the PADDLE PROGRAM would be greatly appreciated as Guylaine was an active supporter for her special cousin Carrie Camirand.
