Pauline McPhail (nee Bourdon) passed away peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home in Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in her 89th year. Cherished mother of the late Daniel, Michael (Anita Siitse) of Sault Ste. Marie and Anne Louise McPhail - Smith (Mike) of Arlington, Texas. Loving Grand-maman to Alexandre (Lynn), Aaron, Andree-Anne, Kirsti, Adam and Caleb. Great Grand-maman to Nathan. Daughter of the late Oscar and Grace Bourdon. Dear sister of the late Jacques, late Marcel-Jude, late Paul (Helen), late Louis-Marcel (Dorothy) and Jean-Maurice (late Lillian). Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Pauline was a dedicated teacher for over 33 years starting in the primary grades and retiring from Ecole Secondaire Catholique Theriault in Timmins. She had a passion for swimming, cross country skiing, dancing, walking and playing bridge. Pauline was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music. A special thank you to all staff at the F. J. Davey Home, especially on Driftwood First Floor. Your kindness and compassion is deeply appreciated. Due to the current pandemic, there will be no visitation or service. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
