DICKINSON, Ruth (nee Bain)
August 13, 1951 – July 24, 2023
We are heartbroken to announce the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend at the age of 71. Wife and loving partner of Ron for 45 years. Kind and gentle mother of Jason (Kerri). Creative, crafty, loving, nice and caring grandmother of Ryan, Tyler, Jordan and Noah. Will be deeply missed by her sister Doris Lorenz (late Bill Wilson), her nieces Noreen (Lindajune), Frances (Romeo) and Jennifer as well as nephews Carlton, Raymond (Crystal) and Russell. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Brian Dickinson (Cathy). Reunited with her parents Henry and Margaret Bain, sisters Nancy and Dorothy, brother Norman, stepdaughter Tammy Dickinson and in-laws Joy and Josee Dickinson.
Ruth enjoyed travelling, boating and spending time with her family. She was extremely artistic and created many gifts which she gave to her family on special occasions. These are treasures that will carry her memories and remain with us forever.
She always thought of everyone before herself. Ruth was a sincere wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. We will forever miss her big sparkling eyes and her generous, kind soul.
The family wishes to thank the ICU nurses at SAH, everyone from Touch of Home in Blind River and Brooke Showan at Menard Funeral Home.
