Saint John Sea Dogs post 4-2 win over Acadie-Bathurst Titan

BATHURST, N.B. — Josh Lawrence scored twice to power the Saint John Sea Dogs to a 4-2 victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Friday night.

Lawrence had a short-handed goal in the first period and added an empty-netter to seal the win.

Raivis Kristians Ansons scored the game-winner late in the third period. Ryan Francis had the other Saint John goal.

Joseph Henneberry and Thomas Belgarde replied for the hometown Titan.

In other Quebec Major Junior Hockey League games, the Halifax Mooseheads dumped the Rimouski Oceanic 6-2 and the Quebec Remparts beat the Drummondville Voltigeurs 5-2.

The Sherbrooke Phoenix posted a 6-2 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders, the Chicoutimi Sagueneens beat the Val-d'Or Foreurs 4-2 and the Victoriaville Tigres defeated the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 5-3.
