A young Iroquois Falls family is $244,115 richer.
Stephanie Giguère Bernier is the winner of the June draw for the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation's 50/50.
"Stephanie checked her tickets to confirm the win, then called her husband Jamy who thought the news was a prank! Their weekend plans included picking up a new outboard motor, we are thinking they may consider getting a new boat to go along with it," reads the hospital announcement.
"Timmins and District Hospital has always provided quality care for the Bernier family especially the Maternity Ward where Delainey joined the family. The couple has been supporting our lottery from the beginning and feel it is an incredible way to raise funds for local charities. Winning the 50/50 is the icing on the cake!"
