TD Summer Reading Club 2014

There will be a collection of DAISY books on CD for children.
These books can be borrowed from the Library for free to any child who wishes to listen to them.
The books can be heard on a PC/laptop with a CD drive (an active library card is required).
Calling all creative youth 9 to 13 years old!
There will be a Youth Enterprise Day Camp at the Timmins Public Library, running from 9 a.m. till noon, July 14 to July 18.
Are you innovative, imaginative and inventive?
Have you ever been curious about developing these skills?
Or, what about selling that ‘thing’ you thought of?
For only $40, Campers will learn about entrepreneurship and the world of business, Monday to Thursday.
On Friday, Campers will be selling their ‘product’ at the Downtown Timmins BIA Urban Park – further advancing skills learned at Camp.

Re-Working Fairytales: July 21-24
The Timmins Public Library is offering a four-day bilingual creative writing workshop for ages 9-12.
This FREE program aims to inspire future writers by exploring the world of fairytales. A fairy good time is guaranteed!

Fairy Good Theatre Workshop – August 11-14 & 18-21
The Timmins Public Library is offering an eight-day theatre workshop for ages 10-13.
This FREE theatre program aims to inspire budding actors, and aspiring stage designers.
Participants will learn about drama techniques, creating props and backdrops and rehearse for the Fairy Good Theatre Final Production!

The Timmins Public Library will be offering bilingual craft sessions for ages 5-7 ($5/each) at 1:30 p.m. throughout the summer.
