  • Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls
  • Kirkland Lake - Englehart

Winter weather travel advisory in effect through this afternoon.

Total snowfall amounts of 8 to 14 cm are expected. Snowfall amounts will be reduced south of Earlton as precipitation is expected to fall in the form of rain at times this morning. Snow will gradually taper off this afternoon.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Total snowfall amounts near 15 cm are expected. The heaviest snow will fall this morning and gradually taper off this afternoon.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
