Canada is celebrating 151 years this Sunday!

For Canada Day, the City of Timmins is holding a free party at the Schumacher Lions Club Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The opening ceremonies are at 10:30 a.m., and will feature colour parties from the Royal Canadian Legions, the Timmins Police Pipes and Drums, as well as the Young Eagle drummers and dancers.

Free kids’ activities and food vendors run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Live entertainment is also lined up starting at 11:45 a.m. It includes buskers, singers, and more. Details on the event can be found here.
