Volunteers are needed to help clean up the shores of Porcupine Lake.
The Friends of the Porcupine River Watershed group is holding its second annual Porcupine Lake Cleanup May 25.
Registration is at 9:30 a.m. at the Whitewater Conservation Area in South Porcupine and the cleanup is from 10 a.m. to noon. There is a barbecue for volunteers at noon.
Some supplies will be handed out, but volunteers should bring a water bottle, hats, and gloves.
