Village Media, the company behind TimminsToday.com, marked the launch this week of its 10th owned and operated Ontario site and its second partner site in British Columbia.
NewmarketToday.ca and PrinceGeorgeMatters.com both hit the web on Monday. The two new hyper-local community news and information sites will publish the latest local news, current events, obituaries and feature stories.
PrinceGeorgeMatters.com is a Glacier Media property and launched in partnership with Village Media. NewmarketToday.ca is the 10th owned and operated site for Village Media and brings the growing number of markets where Village Media operates, inclusive of partners, to a total of 18 across the country.
Village Media says the new sites will also follow the Village Media philosophy of investing in and supporting local communities through advertising opportunities and event sponsorships.

PrinceGeorgeMatters.com follows the March launch of KamloopsMatters.com, making it the second British Columbia site Village Media has launched in partnership with Vancouver-based Glacier Media.
