Two free movies tomorrow National Film Day Canada at Cinema 6

Seating is first come, first served at tomorrow's for tomorrow's screenings of two free, Canadian, critically acclaimed films

Two free movies are being shown tomorrow, Apr. 19, at the Cinema Six courtesy of the Timmins Film Society in celebration of National Film Day in Canada.

Seating will be on a first come first served basis. The first movie to be shown, Stories We Tell starts at 7 p.m. The second film, Atanarjuat, starts at 9 p.m.

Celebrate National Film Day

Stories we tell is directed by renowned Canadian actress and film director Sarah Polley. According to IMDB Polley examines the layers of myths surrounding a family of storytellers.

Stories We Tell

The second film, Atanarjuat, a film by Zacharias Kanuk, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. It is about an Inuit legend of an evil spirit causing disharmony and strife in an Inuit community.

It's the very first Inuit language film ever made. It will be shown with English subtitles.
