Two arrested in connection with Iroquois Falls break and enter investigation

IROQUOIS FALLS - The Iroquois Falls Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and the OPP North East Region Crime Unit have arrested and charged two people (that are believed to be) responsible for the rash of break and enters in Iroquois Falls, Ont.

On April 7, 2018 at 10:06 a.m., the OPP conducted a Criminal Code search warrant on a residence in Iroquois Falls, Ont. where several stolen items were recovered.

Pascal Cadotte, 32 years old, of Iroquois Falls, Ont. is charged with the following:
    •    Three counts of break, enter a place - commit an indictable offence, contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (CC),
    •    Three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC,
    •    Four counts of fail to comply with undertaking, contrary to section 145(3) of the CC and,
    •    Fail to comply with probation order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC.

Also charged is Marie Eve Dulac, 29 years old, of Iroquois Falls, Ont. Her charges include:
    •    Three counts of break, enter a place - commit an indictable offence, contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (CC),
    •    Three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC,
    •    Two counts of fail to comply with undertaking, contrary to section 145(3) of the CC.

They remain in custody.
