Following several discussions around the Council table, the Tourism Timmins staff have officially moved – joining forces with the Timmins Museum: National Exhibition Centre.

The newly renovated Timmins Convention Bureau Visitor Welcome Centre, located at 325 Second Avenue, now combines the synergies of Tourism Timmins and The Timmins Museum – bringing together art, history, culture, and events in one beautifully welcoming, centralized location for everything Timmins.

The official move occurred last week, and staff are now settled in and ready to provide visitors and residents alike with top-notch service. The relocation and installation of signs will follow shortly.

“If you’re in the neighbourhood, drop in and say hello,” encourages Manager of Tourism and Events Guy Lamarche. “If you have not been to the new museum space, I suggest that you make time to come see and enjoy this stunning public space.”
