Tonight: Financial statements, Timmins 2020 and a new street sweeper

After a week off, Timmins city council will meet this evening at City Hall. Among the items on the agenda is a presentation from Clearlogic regarding the Timmins 2020 plan.

Among the items on the agenda is a presentation from Clearlogic regarding the Timmins 2020 plan.

Ross Pope & Company will be presenting audited financial statements from the city.

Mark Jensen, director of community services, will be giving a report on an operating agreement with the Timmins Rock Junior A hockey club.

Exterior repairs on the city's Engineering and Human Resources building will also be discussed.

Mayor Steve Black is expected to address some correspondence that council has received from the public.

Council recently agreed to no longer read citizen correspondence aloud during meetings.

Director of Public Works and Engineering Luc Duval will get into further detail about the city's purchase of a new street sweeper.
