A Timmins woman has a little extra help to pay some bills.
Nadia Kennedy won $144,740 in the June 2022 draw for the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation 50/50.
"Nadia actually surfed over to our website on Friday morning to double-check the time of our draw, it must have been karma because we called her at 11:05 a.m. to tell her the great news! Nadia supports our draw nearly every month. She plans to pay some bills with her win fall and says it couldn’t have happened at a better time," reads the foundation's announcement.
