The Timmins Police Service is proud to welcome its newest officer, Constable Colyn Watson to the police service.

Const. Watson is from Sudbury originally and completed his post-secondary education at Cambrian College in the Law and Security Administration field of study.

Colyn comes to the Timmins Police Service with significant policing experience in terms of previous service with the Nish-nawbe Aski Police Service, having served the James Bay coastal communities of Moose Factory and Kashechewan.

Previous to that, Colyn served in the field of Corrections with service at the Sudbury District Jail and the Cecil Facer Youth Detention Facility.

Const. Watson is eager to devote his on-duty time to crime prevention initiatives and criminal investigations.

He is being made to be better acquainted with the area and patrol zones under the watchful eye of Const. Trevor Southcott.

Const. Watson is adopting Timmins as his new home.

He is a welcome addition to the Timmins Police Service where his skills, training, and experience will be put to good use to the benefit of the community of Timmins and its citizens.
