The Timmins Police Service is continuing the search for 45 year old missing person Pierre (Pete) Nadeau of Timmins.
Members of the Timmins Police Emergency Response Unit, Timmins Search and Rescue and the Ontario Provincial Police Marine Unit searched the Mattagami River near the Wafer Board Bridge over the weekend. A helicopter from the Ministry of Natural Resources was also utilized for the search on the Friday. The ground search has since been suspended however the river is still being patrolled by police.
The Timmins Police Service is asking that boaters on the river report any findings that they feel may be involved in this missing person investigation.
