Timmins Police investigate break in: Lay charges

The Timmins Police Service has completed its investigation into a report of a break-in at a local business resulting in computer data allegedly being corrupted or destroyed.

Working in collaboration with the Timmins Police E-Crime section officers, allegations were investigated which have resulted in Criminal Code of Canada charges.

As a result of the investigation, Terry Quesnel, 53, of Timmins has been charged with:

  • One count of Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Two counts of Unauthorized Use of Computer to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Two counts of Mischief to Computer Data contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.

She was arrested on October 6 and had a bail hearing on October 7 at Provincial Court in Timmins.
