On May 4, 2017, at approximately 12 p.m., police were called to a domestic-related incident. Upon further investigation, police discovered that the individual was bound by conditions not to communicate with a victim.
Following their investigation, police charged a 30-year-old Timmins man with fail to comply with probation order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. Due to the domestic nature of the incident, the accused cannot be named in order to protect the identity of the victim.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for today, May 5, 2017.
